He seems like a good guy. Glad to see he is getting his day!
I am happy for him too. All he ever did was make the best of his touches and make everyone wonder why the hell he was on the bench. He was always ready and didn’t show frustration. Well deserved and he never complained about being hit as a running back. 🙄

Standing next to Botch 70% of the time is now paying off for Alvin...He's still fresh.
I think the same. Jalen stayed banged up (part of that was his size and running style), and is out for the season in SF. Who knows, maybe more carries wouldn't have been a good thing.

Per ESPN.
Bad deal for the Saints. Surely it’s front loaded, because there’s no way Kamara will give the production to earn that money in his 7th and 8th years as an nfl running back.

Also, hopefully the nfl’s salary cap will be dropping soon due to their ridiculous political stances. Every team will take a huge revenue hit this crazy year and as television ratings surely continue to drop, how can nfl teams justify paying this kind of money a running back with a shelf life of 3-4 years? Be interesting to see how this all plays out.

If they get 4 more years of his type of production than it's worth it. And Kamara is very adaptable. He's got 10 years in him. While most RBs have half that at best. His running style leads to a longer career.

Only thing that really matters with these NFL contracts is how much is guaranteed usually.

34.33 million in Kamara's case.

Getting a 15 million bonus this season.

Judging by the amount of guaranteed $$$$, the Saints will be able to cut Kamara (if his level of play declines) within 3 years without it screwing up their cap in years 4-5.

That's why GMs spend their time running teams and you spend yours having negative slants on a message board.
