Brown was a QB in HS. Walks on and plays WR.

Kamara was a 5* #1 Juco player in the nation at RB.

I don't see the real comparison here. JMO

I suppose if it were comparing a UT walkon being successful like Brown was it would be a reasonable comparison to me.

I have to agree, I'm scratching my head about developing a kid who walks on at a small school and a 5 star RB that everybody in the world wanted and arrives ready to play at the SEC level. The comparison does not work for me.

They are expanding his role in the offense to be more involved in the throw game like Butch did with Brown involving him more in the run game. It's about the process not the player

AK came in as a RB, Butch seen he had play making ability at other positions. Slot/PR

Comparing the two in that Butch has an eye for talent and putting it at where it really belongs I suppose. If AK has a big year in the slot and PR again as well as RB then the point will be made.

Question: Did you take the trouble to click on the link and read the full article? Or did you just decide to comment on the thread title?

It talked about how both got expanded roles under Jones. And it made plenty of sense. It is kind of hard to see someone's point if you don't read and understand what they have to say.




No wonder this country elects idiots to run it.
