I hope so. Say what you want but the black jerseys gave us an extra boost against USCjr 5 years ago (wow that long huh?).

For only having 95k at that game, thats one of the loudest entrances I can ever remember. Neyland erupted on the North endzone when those fans saw them in the tunnel and by the time it reached us in the South endzone I knew what was going on before ever seeing the jersey's.

We did kind of wear alternates in 2002 with those white pants with the ugly giant side stripes that we ditched halfway into the season.

That was UNLV in 04. For UF we wore normal orange and white.

Edit: sorry saw you corrected yourself. I loved those unis that night though. Throwback to the Condredge days.

If you go back and look, I think CBJ said we would not be wearing the Smokey Grey unis against Fla or maybe even none at all this year. He never said that they would not wear an alternate uni of some other kind.

Yes they were.

The white uniforms weren't that bad because the black outline made them look a little better. But the home ones looked terrible. It looked like someone was making the white pants and ran out of material and filled in the sides with what was going to be orange pants.

We didn't wear alternates for that game in 2004. The jersey in the picture was from the opening game against UNLV in 2004. As seen below wilhoit celebrating the game winning kick in regular orange uni.

No it shouldn't. They have talent, especially where we are vulnerable. They have had 2 weeks to prepare. Impossible to predict what kind of mindset they will be in. Close, low scoring game imo.
