Alright what is so great about Halo?

one of my friends went to camp out for Halo 3 and he took some pics and i saw that there where atleast 100 people out there waiting for the Halo 3 to drop... i just wanted to ask some of u Halo 3 worshipers why is this game so popular and what is fun about it?

Popcorn, man I'm with you! I played it awhile back to see what the big deal was and I thought there was nothing special to it at all.

yea i played it like once and i didnt find anything too special when i played the first Halo a while back... and i watched my roommate play it today and dont get me wrong it seems like something to do to kill time but i just dont see why people get all excited over it, it is nowhere near as exciting as NCAA or Madden

People have different preferences in games. This and COD are really the only shooter games I play. Everything else is sports for me.

i'm a socom person myself, that's a playstation game. i get to kill terrorists and i love it. playing space war or w/e halo is doesn't do it for me

It's a decent game but not nearly worth all the hype imo.

I've been Halo starved for about 3 years.... maybe that's why I'm flipping out over it.

I like the game and it's fun.

It's got a huge cult following. Maybe it's a Trekkie spill over. :dunno:

yea i actually sat down and played it with my roommate tonite and it is just not as exciting as everyone makes it out to be, i mean i was tired of it within the first 20 minutes of playing and me and my roommate got into a heated argument on why the game is not all that lol

this may sound like a silly question but how is the storyline? I realize playing on xbox live is a big draw but how about the single player?

i'd be surprised if the majority of halo worshippers have actually sat down and beaten the game. most people buy the game for online play. without it, no way it gets as much hype as it does.

The campaign is pretty good. The online play is awesome. The most fun I've had online in a while if not ever.

It is a game for sheep. All three Halo games are trash and all you sheep are slowing down Xbox live. Get a life sheep. Bah bah bah.
