love or hate the choice, they're all talking about us and will be watching LK's results closely this year.

why do you think Spurrier is already slinging mud??? he's upset that SC has to go back to being just above Vandy and KY again... :)

It has been my experience that haters are the biggest fans. The haters know more about the team they hate than they do their own team.

That's because other SEC teams are scared. Scared of Saban and Urban when they were hired and now scared of Kiffin. As they should be.

Seriously?....did U really type that?.....U really think Saban, Urban, Les & The Evil Genius (not so much lately) are really scared of us hiring an OC as a HC?

No, they are scared of us hiring Kiffin as HC.

yes,...I think Kiffin as HC is established,....I'm suggesting to VN that Kiffin isn't going to be a good HC,.....see I'm not a Coach K fan,.....I'm on board,...but not a fan. Hiring him as a OC, keeping Phil and letting Coach K mature into the position of HC under Phil, now that would have been BRILLIANT. Say what you want about Phil's coaching skill,....he was a great CEO and Coach K could have gotten the job w/my blessings (not that anybody should care about my blessing) if he was OC for 3 yrs. - help Phil pass Neyland,...then assume the HC position as Phil truely leaves under a graceful exit.

100% VOL, but I feel this was a mistake and we will suffer, unless we see some serious football wisdom we will not be on the top.

....in short,.....they (top coaches of the SEC) aren't afraid of UT,....they are laughing,...I doubt many of the top guys in the SEC would even interview Coach K to be their OC of their own programs.....

You'd better watch yourself. Reality doesn't sit well with the vast majority of folks in here.

Sure he's good enough for USC, and a pro franchise but isn't in the SEC's league.

Considering the offense displayed in the SEC this year, not many teams should be commenting on LK's credentials.

The hiring of CLK solo may have seemed a bit risky, but now that it appears the accompanying staff will be epic, the hiring is legitimized and notice has been served.

I did note that a recent article on ESPN.com referred to the HC position at UT as prestigious. Maybe even the talking heads are excited about the potential.

We are already starting to get some spiteful talk from other fans in the SEC. Fans are signing up in droves to shoot us down on here and I'm seeing it on ESPN and other places.

People are taking note, if you're not worth the time no one is going to spew hatred. We are definitely in the national eye again and I have to say I like it.

like earnhardt use to say whether they boo you or cheer for you at least their doing something. So I say if the nation is talking bad about us, it's only because they recognize WE'RE BACK:rock::rock:

I haven't listened to talking heads sense that
Tennessee hater Keith Jackson!

As far as ESPN when they talked up Woodson over Manning I saw which way the wind was blowing there.

im sorry i bleed orange but woodson deserved it, he affected , defense, special teams, and offense.

and if kiffen is this offenseive geinuess, he would have found a way to make boyd fit, what was USC's last black qb rodney pete ? not a racist thing, i am just saying is he afriad boyd will think run first, hell we had a 2 qb system in hs i was the throwing qb and a kid by the name of bebo buchannon was the running qb.

off clk first stupid move taking back boyds scholarship. if i were him i would work my ass off this summer and come walk on show that he is the best bet we have @ qb
