I'm worried Fulmer isn't going to give Stephens much time at all. I'd like to see him start, but I have a feeling we won't see him until later on in the 2nd or the beginning of the 3rd. Just long enough for Crompton to have made a mess of everything.


Either way....I'm afraid Crompton may end up being the greater of two evils. I hope not...I really do, but its a possibility.

Is everyone really convinced Stephens will start Saturday? I'm not. Fulmer has already said both will play. He is having a hard time coming to the realization that his boy just plain sucks and isn't cutting it. I don't think Crompton has the right to play 1 second on Saturday. He has had 16 quarters to get better and he is getting worse. At least give Stephens these 4 quarters to prove himself and get him ready for the Georgia game. My prediction: Fulmer starts Crompton and plays them both about half and half. I certainly hope not, but that is what I see happening.

I really, really, really hope that isn't the case. We've all seen how bad it can get when we try to run 2 QBs; did Fulmer learn nothing from the 05 disaster? It would be one thing if we tried running the 2 QB system like FL or LSU did when they won the title, but we don't have the kind of QBs you need to run that successfully.

Unfortunately that is what Fulmer is planning. Not sure why Crompton has to play at all, he has had his chance, let Stephens have his. I don't understand Fulmer. I guess Crompton is his boy. Here is the link and quotes.....
