With all the big names off the board, here are a few guys the UT has offered:

Tony Gillespie
Marty Everett
Leon Mackey
Levor Ross
Norman Young
Nelson Bullard

Also have five DT listed on the roster.

We are in Gillespie's final two. I haven't heard anything on Everett, I doubt we get him. Mackey was very high on us at first but we are out of the running now. The other three I know nothing about.

All those years with Great DT's kinda spoiled us. Like to see us have one much less two Haynesworth/Henderson types emerge either on the roster or in recruiting.

I had high hopes for Brimfield, but I understand they've moved him to O-Line?

I think we just get as many quality players as we can on defense and then worry about position later. I would like to see us take at least 6 guys that could potentially play Dline.

If they can't, we shouldn't waste scholarships on them. There's nothing wrong with putting one in your pocket and using it in 2009 on a better player.
