Alontae Taylor is a STUD

I don't really consider Thompson a "stud corner"yet. I like his physicality and athleticism, but he has given up some big plays this year. His best football is ahead of him. IMHO, Osborne played better last night than Thompson did.

Osborne played well with his 2 interceptions. The lateral was just dumb and reinforces Pruitt's half time comment we played pretty good, but "just don't know how to act". He was referring to the unnecessary penalties on Calloway and Richmond. I thought Juan Jennings kept his cool pretty good though when that KY player punched him while he was on the ground after the Hail Mary pass. Somehow that didn't get called.

Hard to tell who did what if you listened to the announcers. They were insistent that DWA caught that pass to set up the first TD even as the camera zoomed in on the back of Jordan's #9 jersey. Later they praised #22 Abernathy to the heavens for the blocked FG even as the camera was showing people congratulating #2 Tuttle on the sideline. Not sure how you mix up those two guys, Tuttle looks like Gregor Clegane standing next to Abernathy.

Yep, Alontae really played a super game.

It's funny, that the announcers were gushing over Baylen Buchanan, who played well, but he was the DB Kentucky was trying to pick on (and succeeded a few times). They only tried once on Alontae's side, I think, and failed. That's how well he was covering his man. All afternoon long. He very quietly rocked it today, and a lot of folks wouldn't even notice because the ball rarely came anywhere near him.
Most people don’t realize that this is his first true year as a db, he was a wr and qb in high school

He dominated the game on the outside. He was the only CB playing bump and run. No one really even dares throwing his way and that takes away 1/2 the field. What a performance from this future superstar. His play will go unnoticed in the box score, but not the film.

Average ball skills = frosh.
NFL closing speed = something we've lacked for a while.

Alontae has a bright future, I just hope all the targeting BS doesn't get in his head and make him think too much before he hits. It seems like his football instincts are on par but multiple ejections for playing big boy football could alter his "process"
