Absolutely pathetic performance by the Vols.
Coaching gets an F,especially the defensive coaches. We saw last year against Georgia how the defensive backs cannot cover the deep ball, yet there is no difference in performance on the last play. Offensively,John Kelly was not used enough, and surely if so many fans and commentators can see Dormady throwing off his back foot and making poor throws because of it,coaches can see it and correct it. Very poor play calls in the red zone, and the Vols shot themselves in the foot too often. We have good or great athletes, yet we don't have coaches that put them in a position to win. Offensively and defensively, this team is under performing. Wouldn't be surprising to see moving vans in front of coach's homes.
Butch is disappointed, but he is notorious for not having teams ready to play and that continued today. We seem to be trying to become the vandy of East Tennessee,in that we talk a great game, but it doesn't translate to the field.
This trend has lasted far too long. As a Vol fan since Johnny Majors was tailback, and seeing many teams not play well, the apathetic mentality that CBJ's teams show more often than not concerns me. Five years in and still not getting it done. Probably spoiled after Fulmer's tenure, but IT'S TIME!!
