Yup only time she played some SF was when she was in with Coates and Wilson and that was rare that she was in with the second unit they would normally go Wilson at the 4 alongside Coates and had Roy play the 3 with Mitchell and Cuavaus (I know I spelled it wrong)

It was only rare, when the game was still close. In tight games we played Coates, Wilson, Welch, Mitchell, and Sessions.

The thing was Welch is a big powerful player. Not a lot of finesse there. Played much more like a power forward regardless of what her official position was.

Ah not really. Not when they had their best 5 in the game.

She averaged 26 minutes per game last season, second most to only Mitchell at 29.

And yes really. She wasn't anything besides a post for SC, as she has virtually zero perimeter skills and was the 2nd leading rebounder on the team after Coates. The only thing that makes Welch a SF is her body, not her game. She can't shoot and can't handle the ball.

I know you're getting at Wilson being the PF. Neither one is remotely a wing player. Sorry. I guess when they were both in the game with Coates or Ibiam, Dawn liked a three post lineup, because that's what it was, similar to how Pat used to play Parker, Anosike and Fluker together -- although Parker has much more perimeter skill than Wilson or Welch (understatement). But ... but ... but ... I thought Wilson was a wing.
