Allah Needs a new PR Dept.

Curious, does not agreeing with 100% of conservative ideas/posts mean someone is an "extreme liberal"? I'm a white business owner that will pay north of 37% in taxes this year, I assure you that I am not liberal when it comes to fiscal responsibility. I think the government over reach and regulation is the biggest problem with government and I believe Obama's biggest failures are in and continue to be in foreign policy.

Frankly, If i disagreed with 100% of the conservative posts here, it'd be the equivalent of a ddos attack and Freak would likely ban my subnet.

I think too many people here are too caught up in a with us or against us mentality, it's dumb.

What type of business are you involved in?

The distinction between overlapping ideas/ideals/platforms and exclusive ideas/ideals/platforms would go a long way as well.

Yep, and then people wonder why there is such political disfunction within government and a lack of substantive discourse between folks when in pertains to a political conversation.

I try to figure out what changed, but I can't wrap my head around it - It seems the discourse has accelerated with Gen X more quickly than the previous generations (although I have only my perspective). Perhaps it's the result of instant information and 24 hour news cycles and news being condensed to the most vitriolic attention grabbing sound bites. I don't know, I guess every generation likely believed and bemoaned the 'end of America' as they knew it and that really we're no different.
