I was scrolling across twitter this morning and come across something I was not aware of. Ryan Hilinski, who will be the starting QB for USCjr, tragically lost his brother to suicide last year. Ryan wears the number 3 on his back to honor his brother. Also, during the first play of the third quarter, USCjr fans raise three fingers to honor Ryan, his family, and their foundation Hilinski’s Hope. I think it would be great, as mentioned in the post, to join the fans in doing so. Things like this are much bigger than football, and I know Vol fans can show their support in a way that will never be forgotten for the family. I have provided the link to the tweet that I have summarized. As always, go Vols!

We had a superstition on the Fire Service in Nashville. When someone died of our brotherhood,we felt 2 more were soon to go.Therefore we referred to it as throwing a 3.I know this sounds morbid and somewhat classless to some, but true.We dealt with a lot of very bad things which were hard to deal with over time, this was I suppose,a way of helping mentally to deal with that stuff.Pardon me for I digress!!

Such a sad story but great to see this family rallying and making something good out of a tragedy. God bless them.

I want uscjr to lose of course, but this would be awesome. Show some class and support that young man in his loss of a loved-one 😥. I can only imagine what he's been through. Prayers for him and his family.
