Coach Martin and staff will be holding an open practice at 2pm in TBA. The reason this is such a big deal...you can bet that Robert Hubbs and Jonathan Williams lll will be in attendance with their families for this practice.

Let's show them some true fan support, and really welcome them to rocky top. Both of these guys are very highly rated, would be program changer type recruits, and are both very heavily considering UT.

Take a break from the tailgating just to make an appearance at TBA, and show these guys how much we want them on Rocky Top. College Gameday scene, followed by an awesome scene in TBA, and capped off by an a$$ whooping dealt to the gators....strong impression!!!

This is awesome. I hope there is a big turn out.

Wish I was able to be a game days. I miss them.

The people I work with refuse to let me switch my Saturday shifts for football games (even just one). And they don't even care about UT or sports.

We should meet up before or after the practice if anyone wants too. I'll for sure be there!

Got completely screwed out of a teaching assistantship, which would have given me a full tuition wavier, and a $10k/year stipend to teach ear training and music theory classes. During the fall and spring semesters, you can't have an outside job. When I applied for the master program, they decided to not give out the assistantships based on academic performance and teaching experience. They had predetermined to give one to a student that did not get their bachelor from UT (there were only 2 to give out). They also wanted a balance of composition and music theory students (I am composition). So the fact that I graduated from UT and that I'm studying composition screwed me out of the assistantship even though I was more qualified in all areas than the non-UT music theory student that received it.

I will be at the Florida game, if I am able to get into Knoxville before 2 PM I will most def be in attendance for the open practice.

I think this is a great recruiting idea by CCM, but someone explain to me how he swung this. Doesn't "midnight madness" mark the first time that teams can practice together? That's October.

I feel like thats correct...I know they've been working out...maybe it'll be a "workout"??

This isn't anything new, Bruce did this as well if I recall correctly. I distinctly remember attending one. Don't really see how it could be a problem anyways.

I attended the last one Bruce did(only one I know about) however, it was before bama which is typically the 3rd week of October, thus like MC said after teams are allowed to practice.

I don't know the specific rules. I thought, generally, the practices couldn't be organized and attended by coaches or assistant coaches.

I don't know the rules re: pictures/videos of workouts or coach's ability to comment on the workouts.
