I've seen Peerless Price on most lists, but almost no Tim McGee or Stanley Morgan. What gives? Hell, Meachrm was dramatically better than Price.

Next time we are at Calhouns, remind me to tell you a few Jackie Walker stories I've heard through the years.

Bob Johnson is the best center to ever wear the orange . Any all time team without Doug Atkins on it ,is just plain out not worthy of the paper its written on.
QFT yo d-line what up!

Cool thread. It is good to see a mixture of names being thrown out. Some younger fans may not know about great players like Doug Atkins or Terry McDaniel, or simply a good role player like Shawn Bryson. I love to see guys like that getting the attention they deserve.

Did you just select Jason Allen over Deon Grant? Really?

Shawn Summers was the man. We need a PR like him. 942 career punt return yards at 11.2 ypr, and 2 TD's.

Thank you on the Bill Bates. The guy was a pure demon on punts/kickoff's.

RB Curt Watson didn't play in the NFL, but he went on to fly with the United States Navy Blue Angels.

He became a pilot for Fed Ex after his retirement from active duty.

Doug Atkins is a must. Cosey Coleman is a strong one that I'm not seeing on too man lists. Peerless=national title. Gault was lightening as a returner. I'd like to put Bill Duff on cause he can kind of do karate and Dwayne Goodrich is the all time best Vol in prison....ouch. Sorry Dwayne, I love you. But in fairness, Cheese Henry isn't too far behind you. I think UT is one of the few schools that could have an All Time second team as well.

Hard for me to understand how you pick Riley or Miller over Bob Johnson at center . The guy was a first team all-american at UT, was the second overall pick in the draft , was all pro several times for the Bengals and finished 6th in the Heisman vote as a freakin center .
