Greg Amsler

He was a beast... he was Mike Alstott before Mike Alstott

Someone beat me to it. Amsler was one of the most underrated players to wear the orange, and a big reason they won the Sugar Bowl in '91.

Close 2nd... Al Wilson

I will never forget when he completely hurdled the Virginia defender in the 90 or 91 Sugar Bowl. After that play, Tennessee played lights out and wouldn't be denied the Sugar Bowl victory. Tony Thompson diving over the entire Virginia defensive line for a TD with seconds left didn't hurt either.

Didn't he pretty much get them down the field on the last drive for Thompson to score?

Condredge Holloway- He's the first Vol, I remember following as a kid

Somebody else who remember Condredge! #7 I think.

Remember how he used to drop back, fake the long ball, and then run like Eric Berry (to give a current example). Man, he was exciting!

Mose Phillips - the screen pass against Florida in the rain is one of the best catch/run i've ever seen.

While he was certainly not the most talented Conredge Holloway is probably at the top of my list.
