All this Bama talk

The fans don't have to concentrate on the next game. Coaches and players do. Staying healthy is a must if we are to have half a chance against Alabama or even GA.

Beating Alabama should be a stepping stone for us, not a goal. This team has a shot at getting to lane kiffin and has to beat bama to get there. We don't only wanna beat bama. It's much bigger than that. We are out for blood, and it's not crimson.

That Michigan game will be the closest game we have all year. Best team I've ever seen!

That's the dumbest statement I've seen in a very long time lmao. First of all the defense will not rank near as high as last years in every category, and second Michigan isn't very good. I could pass as good if not better than DR all he does is throw up punts and hopes for the best. It was an impressive display but Michigan isn't even picked to win the big 10 and are way over rated, and their defense is still not very good.

Why is Bama even in the discussion? We face 3 very good opponents between now and then!! Can we please focus on beating Florida, Georgia, and Miss St before we even talk about Bama?

Guy`s it was our first game I`m totally pumped about the win we looked good, but let`s not go nut`s over one win. Bama will get here soon enough. I want to see us improve for the GSU game, by that I mean: DOMINATE them not 17-13 final I`m talking 49-7 or 56-10.

GSU got crushed by a team on their level in their home opener, so I believe it may be worse than 56-10 depending on how DD lets the back up's play. Meaning if he lets the second team come in and throw the ball around and run the offense instead of running 3 times and punting when we get up big.

The only way to beat Bama currently is to out-coach Bama. They've got too much talent.

The real question is: can Dooley out-coach Saban?

Unlike any other SEC head coach, Dooley knows Saban uniquely. He studied under him, knows his style and thought process.

I guarantee, the Vols will not lose by 27 points to Bama, so you can forget that "closest game all year" stuff right now.

NFL secondaries could not blank our passing game and you along with the rest of the nation will come to know this.

I have a lot of respect for your team ... but I cannot wait to play you this year.

Frankly, F$@* Bama. And here's why:

We're going into week 2, we don't see them until Oct 13, and it's September 3. There's a lot of football between us and the Third Saturday in October. Right now, it's Georgia State we need to *cough lol cough* "worry" about. Next week, it will be Florida. Then Akron, UGA, and Miss St. There's way too much ground to cover to even have it in our minds yet. It's like hiking and seeing a false summit. People see a false summit, so they speed up only to find out that the trail turns and they're still headed uphill. The key to a dominant season can be summed up in five easy words:

ONE. GAME. AT. A. TIME.

Dude, it's a football forum.

alabama's secondary can be beaten! Bray can light them up for big yards and points. That will be the key game of the year!!!

Michigan/Robinson can't throw consistently enough and that had no run game for bama to respect. Michigan is a 4-5 loss team. They were the 2007 version of the Vols last year ( won every close game with a lot of breaks) It won't repeat this yr. bama played great but they'll play better teams in SEC.
