All things STOCKS

Damn, there was some money to be made buying the futures basically at any point in the overnight session and selling them basically any time after the cash open.

NVDA and GOOGL are actually green. AAPL just marginally lower.

After hours was down about a half percent. Now pre-markets have reversed and the averages are indicating about a +0.25% up move. 3 hours before regular trading hours.

Shake shake shake your Thunder Stick it all!

With all the AI going on, there has to be a fund out there that buys when our President speaks; and then sells when he stays quiet for a week.

Yes! Good point.

Was there a fund tracking Nancy Pelosi's husband somehow?

Or I assume the actual trade info was far after the fact.
On X: "Nancy Pelosi Stock Tracker"

However, the trading info is delayed enough that I have not found it very helpful. I don't believe there is a way to follow government officials' activity in real time.

Not that I've seen, but feel free to share if you are aware of one.

I'm sure you already know this, but Powerus is not currently available for public trade. After the merger with Aureus expected late this summer, the company will be represented with the symbol PUSA, if you are still interested.

I was making the point that Pelosi is the tip of the iceberg on government officials or their families making $ off of either insider knowledge or special status with government contractors.

Couldn't be further from the truth. But, wrong forum to discuss. Take TDS to the PF, please.

Are you selling in the high 11s and buying when it drops below 10? I've been holding but thinking it's prime for day trading. It's just hard for me to find time to do that on a daily basis.

Just enter a sell to open (STO) limit order for cash reserved put contracts and enter an order to buy to close (BTC) limit after the put contract from step one executes. There’s a lot of volume and volatility on the contracts. The only risk is having shares assigned at above market price if they crash.

The after hours market looks promising for tomorrow’s regular session. Not huge, but solid move up. So far.

PPI Wednesday BEFORE the open. 8:30am.

Fed rate decision at 2pm. Should be a nothing burger.

Jerome’s press conference begins at 3:30pm. Lame duck Fed chair at the podium shouldn’t have much effect.

Yup.

They report next week and a lot of it is already baked in so we could see a slip in a beat and and tumble down to 7s if it misses.

On the other hand, the 6m chart action points towards a very possible big leg up.
