Another good day today. Im trying something new for myself just to see how things go. Im not looking for a get rich quick scheme just something long and slow to see what happens.
I have positions in VTI, VOO, KO, FDVV, FBCG..... I've got a daily recurring investment going into each of them.
Today I picked up SCHD and started a daily with them.
I plan on running the daily through the end of March then turning them off and seeing where the accounts go.
Compared to when? The DXY is at the same level today it was at in 2022, 2015-16, 2003, 1998, 1997, 1993, 1991, 1989, 1987, 1981, 1977, and 1973.International, emerging markets, Nasdaq and PMs getting clobbered today. With a weak dollar and waning confidence in our bonds, I think 2026 is looking like it’s setting up to be pretty bumpy.

I can hardly see that chart. It’s down 11% in the past year. Down 2% YTD. There’s been a noticeable uptick in other countries selling US debt in a move away from the dollar and concerns over our rapidly mounting debt certainly have a further weakening effect on the USD. Sure, past performance is not necessarily indicative of future performance, but Fundamentals just look more ominous going forward.

You're buying the same things again just in different ETF's. Go to a sight called etf research center, etfrc.com, to see the overlap. It's free and safe to see the top holdings and percentages of overlap.Another good day today. Im trying something new for myself just to see how things go. Click the chart to make it bigger. It's down 11% over the last year...and is unchanged since any of those other years I listed.I can hardly see that chart. It’s down 11% in the past year. I don’t know. It could be a rough for some time, but it’s predicting the future so I could be totally wrong. Both Morningstar and Wells Fargo have it valued at more than the current price, but they too could be wrong. What do you think the bottom is

Long game anyway. I think it’s a good buy. I may sell some Meta today at some point.I don’t know. It could be a rough for some time, but it’s predicting the future so I could be totally wrong. I also look at history some and hope it bounces back. View attachment 810980
I do have to say though...crypto has been dunked on numerous times in its relatively short history and it's come back every time. There's definitely something to it, but not for the reasons popularly ascribed to it.
