LOL I know this is not a good time to be talking about anything other than a tip, but how much does Robinhood charge in fees (whether hidden or not) i see the trades are free but.....

My biggest gripe is that the prices aren't exactly up to date when you go to sell and everything is on a delay.

Are you using Robihood? You can download stock symbols on Yahoo, and get real time quotes They change while you are looking at them.
I'm sure other websites do the same thing.

I really don't how Robinhood works, but they probably get fees from transaction volume and possibly soft dollars.

I believe yahoo is on a delay as well. If you want to check you probably can just be on Yahoo at the open and see how soon prices start posting for the current day.

You'll love this.... I did a stint as a stock broker back in the mid 90s. I wasn't good at being a retail broker. But... my biggest commission was $4,500 for ONE trade.... That could never happen today.

In those days it was a bit more like how real estate agents get paid today... You know a percent of the sale price. Still makes me mad as heck when I sell real estate. I will have my own license next time I sell and I'll cut the horrific commission scam down to size.

This has to dip Monday.

Just don t understand how this is anything, but super inflated.
I think it's a little high energy from the unemployment number and some optimism about the warm weather and increasing "normalcy". I'm right there with you, I'm selling off things now for a little cash for an incoming dip.

Where did you all start when first getting into stocks. Ive been intrested for a bit, but kinda of nervous to start because I don't know much about stocks
I am still in the learning stages but I am using Robinhood and tiny amounts of money just to see how things are. I'm a hands-on learner so this works for me.

Minimize your day trading. Buy and hold. Buy ETFs and don't stress about picking individual stocks. As you watch your balance consistently rise you'll be wanting to put more in which will drive savings in other areas of your life. It's a positive feedback loop.
