Hubbs just stated that negotiations are ongoing with Will Muschamp as of 20 minutes ago.

Im hearing he's staying to follow in Mack's footsteps. I guess we'll see.

Why should we deal with this guy? Yes he's a good coach, but he has the same agent as Kiffin. He will most likely turn tail and run just like Kiffin once what he perceives as a better offer comes to pass.

Who knows what to believe because the rivals site for Texas has stated that he is not going anywhere

Said that Kippy took control and is doing a hell of a job for us. There are other insiders as well stating that the hold up on Muschamp is that he wants a 6 year contract, and Hammy is offering a 5 year contract.

Is he asked to honor existing assistant coaches' contracts or can his hiring his own staff be afforded?

My gosh offer the 6 year contract...he will be gone to UGA by then

and if saint richt does not last 6 more years at UGA, does Muschamp get a significant penalty clause for kiffing out on us?

Will would insist on bringing in his own guys. It may not be a deal breaker, but it will have come up at some juncture of the conversation.

Where is Jim Chaney? I thought he'd be the interim instead of Kippy considering the experience at Purdue?
