All The Vegas "Experts" Picking UF

Idgaf what everyone says. If we didn’t sleep walk against AP the spread would be around 10.5

We go into the fourth quarter up by 17 and if we go conservative they might get it to a one score game

I was going to get on here and say the complete opposite!!! I have seen everything on social media “experts” that pick 2-8 games e wry week they are all on Tennessee, so I was getting really worried because usually is all Vegas is on one team generally speaking it turns out the exact opposite. Same with over/under when everyone is on one… it usually means it’s a really high scoring or low scoring game, not always but it seems to happen more than not at least on the higher profile games….

We lost to USCe by fiddy yet we had a grand year. We can lose in the swamp win all the other SEC games we are suppose to and maybe upset Gumps or ugga mugga and no one will care what happens in the swamp. But it will be painful till we get back to 6-1

Mark Lawrence picked Florida to Win, Sports Reporter too, MOF, every Handicapping service has Florida as their Underdog Play; and with good reason considering the stats & trends, Ut has an abysmal record vs uf, even when fla sucks (last year's close game should have been a blowout) and especially @ Uf. Joe & Company CAN change that, if they just play like they are capable. Night game down there with all the loud drunks, going to be a challenge. This game will define Tennessee's season; and more. Hang in there guys and GO VOLS!
Spread right now is 6.5. I think I’ll take the points but Vols win. Also wouldn’t surprise me to see us double that up. I don’t think they got the horses to run with us. History says otherwise in the Swamp but as it was pointed out to me a week or so back, it’s not the vaunted place to play it once was.

Anyone paying attention realizes that UT should win this game based on overall experience and talent advantage. Its lack of confidence in the offense, and in particular the perception that there is a big fall off without Hooker that is holding you back in these popularity contests.

I still think it highly likely you win. We might stay close for most of the first half based on adrenalin and a bounce or two of the ball in our direction. But it won't last and by the fourth quarter I think you will have pulled away.
Well, when you've seen rookie QBs all your life come in and beat the pants off of us you have to think that it's pretty embedded. I remember Will Grier saying in 2015 that he told the team in the huddle that it's UT, they always choke and he throws the ball to a receiver in the middle of UT defenders and he takes it to the house on a 4th and forever play. Also, last year's epic whipping and we almost lost. I mean when does UF have to go for it on every 4th down to have a shot....And they almost won. We've tried that and we drop wide open passes. The last time UF played really bad against us was in 1992. That's the last time we blew them out and they've blown us out probably 15 times since then? I'd love beat UF for so many times that their fans storm the field after the 1st time they beat us in forever. Never gonna happen because I think this is the last time we play for awhile. People say these players know nothing about it, but they've been saying that same thing the last 20 years, but it seems to be some kind of Voodoo curse to me and I've been watching this rivalry since it started in 1991. The curse of Danny Wuerffel I call it. Ever since he beat our Heath Shuler led team in his first start as a freshman in 1993 it's been all UF. I'd trade playing UGA this Saturday and UF later in the year. UGA is cocky and overconfident and we don't shake in our shoes over them. We used to own them. They used to be just like us playing UF. They just couldn't beat us. They didn't get the breaks. We should have beaten UF 5 times in the last decade at least. When both UT and UF are equal, UF wins every, single, time.

Oh come on!!!...We are going to walk in there and beat thier stinking brains out!!...This Florida team has lost 4 straight to power 5 teams including losing to Vanderbilt and that was with thier first round draft pick at QB...Mertz is going to get merked and if we don't win by 21 I'll be mad...This Florida team absolutely SUCKS!!...Never been so confident about a game in my life...Ok rant over, go back to your gloom and doom theories.

He's just hoping we win because UT is the only challenging game on their whole schedule this year. If they slip up against us, it will look really, really bad for them since if we lose to UF we could come into the game with them with nothing to lose and 3 or 4 losses on our end already. We beat them with 3 or 4 losses, man they will have to win the SEC championship game to get into the CFP. Not saying they won't anyway, but it always looks good to beat a highly ranked team and really bad to lose to an unranked team!

If you are predicting this game based on any trends or history go look up Mertz career stats verses power 5 teams and think about that.

Love this Locker room material. They always pick against us. Always hate us. Hope all this is bottled up. Go Vols !

Stop with the “locker room material” stuff. If you’re the better team and better coached you’re gonna win the game. If “locker room material” helped, then we would’ve owned Spurrier back in the day because he spewed more bs than anybody about us.

A lion doesn’t have to tell you that he’s a lion.

And that simple idea doesn’t change the fact that he can whip your ass if he gets the notion…

Vols will destroy UF. To think otherwise is folly.

Jimmies. Joes. Coaches. Experience (those b grade Florida players know they damn lucky to not have been completely blown out last year).

Vols by fiddy.

Unfortunately i have the same thouhht they do. I’ve seen this movie too many times against that team. Hoping for the best and a Vol win, but i picked UF by three scores.
3 scores is a stretch. My prediction was UF by 10. I think this game has two outcomes: we play the sloppiest game all year and lose by 10 OR we come out swinging with a chip on our shoulder and beat them by 20+. I don’t think this game becomes a shootout type game. It’s either sloppy TN beats themselves or gun-Ho TN offense finally shows up.

Knowing our track record against Florida and the feeling I have of this team, my money is on the former. Hence why I’d go UF by 10.

I had a lot of concern last year also, mostly due to past history of this game, but we won last year and can do it again if we just play to our ability. GBO

Georgia Bulldogs Youtuber 'Uncle Lou' picks UT:

He talks a bunch of smack, but I just laugh about it. Then he puts out serious content that is actually some of the best college football analysis on Youtube.

Yeah I hate him but agree with most of his takes on games, teams and cfb in general. Except that he thinks the TN offensive scheme is a gimmick. That irks me.

I get the history, but dang. It's not like they have Tebow 🤣

My biggest worry comes when I think of how we played at UGA and SC last season. Both night games on the road. Both electric atmospheres. Both stadiums filled with raucously hostile opposing fans. Both games we seemed to not be able to match the opponents' level of intensity. Yeah, we won on the road at LSU, but it was an early game and the crowd didn't seem as frenzied. Even in our own stadium last week, AP's team came out fired-up and we played like our heads were still in the locker room.

Saturday night will be an atmosphere that is similar to past games where we seemed to shrink. A win in that kind of environment on the road will be especially meaningful -- more so than the value of a W over the Gators, IMO.
Georgia was a day game

Sometimes the Vegas "experts" pick a team because they know they won't win. Don't forget, they want EVERYONE to bet on the team that loses. That way it is more money for them. Trusting them is like trusting a positive advertisement about the latest wonder drug made by the company making it.
