It was a great view from where I was at 345 in the am. Wish I had a better camera.

Early evening we have been able to see Venus, Saturn and Jupiter. Jupiter is the reddish object closer to the moon. The smaller faint one between Venus and Jupiter is Saturn. Really neat in that right now Uranus and Neptune are also up but too faint to see.

Love astronomy. Can't wait to get a scope. Still have some work to do at the house but will most likely put in a homemade planetarium.

One of the best things about living in the country - the night sky. Way too much light pollution in town for me to see anything much dimmer than Jupiter, and that’s iffy.

Your own planetarium, how cool! I first went to a planetarium when I was 8. When the dark projector swung across the star field, it scared the bejabbers out of me. Alien spaceship overhead! 👽

Random post..... How to make Bacon Shine

Make sure to use good shine (heart of the run).... Add bacon (not burnt) to clear jar quart or pint. Store in you kitchen cabinet where you keep your drinking glasses (have everyone give it a good shake each time they open the cabinet). Do that for at least 2-weeks.

Remove bacon and strain a couple of times, then store in the freezer. Any residual bacon fat will surface and freeze and you can skim it off. Do that a few times and then enjoy.

That is different. You could always drink regular shine then eat a bacon sandwich once you get the drunk munchies.
