@Behr Do you still use turmeric? Have you thought about growing your own?

This article is by a woman who pretty much manages a large market garden that feeds all the members of an “intentional community” (commune in the old days) in Virginia in the Appalachians (USDA zone 7a, like Asheville.) She’s one of my go-to references for veg gardening, as she is wonderfully skeptical and sensible.

You obviously wouldn’t need a greenhouse or hoophouse in Florida, but she lists some sources for roots and how to plant them.

Anyway, the subject made me think of you.

The only thing I'm not a huge fan of right now is that they lumped the "ATT 5G" and my "WIFI" connection into one "Internet" tab. So now I have to access my internet connection and then open that to access my wifi. Before I could just swipe down and turn wifi off and on easily. It's not a big deal but kind of annoying if you are switching between the 2 often.

Yes, I buy fresh root from Whole Foods. It cost me about $7 a month with no hassle.

I looked at growing it and I don't think I have the patience. It's alot of work to grow stuff like that here. Plenty of sunshine, rain and warm Temps, but you also need some dirt.

No, I ain't growing it.

Yeah, I’m finding myself sticking to growing things (specific varieties) that I can’t necessarily find in a store.

Been out of my regular coffee. Just got some today and having it tomorrow. It's like Christmas eve at the Behr's Den.
