Still blows my mind that liquor stores won’t sell cork screws, but grocery stores do. They must expect more winos will hang out and chug a lug. Guess no one suggested they remove the screw tops, lol.
Before they legalized wine in grocery stores, I was told by a liquor store employee that the law stated that they couldn’t sell corkscrews or even glassware - nothing that would allow you to actually drink anything other than by breaking the neck of the bottle off against the side of the counter. Amazingly enough, there was a very handy (and tiny) store next door that sold exactly that.

I guess they forgot to remove that provision?
