Yes it is. But it's not all that strange because nobody ever asks for them, and it's a pain in the ass to serve a good one. So I understand it.

Still sucks. The best one in town is at Long John Silvers.

One of my best childhood memories, related to food, was having a fish fry at my church every year. It was so good and the hush puppies were handmade by some little old lady.

Corn fritters have kernel corn in batter. Hush puppies are made with corn meal with some other ingredients depending on individual recipes.

Yep, He is correct. Corn fritters, and most other "fritters" are made with flour. Hushpuppies are made with cornmeal and flour.

Hushpuppies require onion. Obviously you can include other ingredients but onion ain't an option. If it ain't got onion it ain't a hushpuppy. That's my rule so don't waste your time searching to confirm.

Big portions at Aubreys. They're pretty good, but, cant compare to corn fed and rolled in cornmeal. Best catfish I've ever had were served in restaurants in Arky and Lousyanna.
