I just threw up in my mouth. They should be banned from Italian food.

That is not Italian for sure. Italian is my favorite, and I felt like a cheating spouse preparing that garbage.

THANK YOU! I had to do it, because they requested. You let the cream cheese soften, mix garlic and Italian seasoning in cream cheese, coat the noodles with that and then layer with sauce and top with cheese. God awful.

Like a play on alfredo or something?

I actually have not tried it, but I'm not so close minded that I won't. . It isn't as orb describes it though, it's a mixture of cheeses (one being cream cheese) and layered with the noodles and sauce

I didn't think it sounded bad, but I'm a cream cheese fan so I don't know any better.

Me too...I'm also a fan of a lot of cheese...so add in another cheese or 10, I'm good!

When my great-grandmother died (she lived with us and I called her Nanny, it was very hard losing her), a co-worker of my mom's brought over this thing that was hamburger meat, green onions, white stuff (cream cheese, sour cream, etc ??), and noodles. I don't remember what else was in it, but I've never been able to recreate it. It was one of the best things I've ever had.

Yeah buts it’s the Play-doh that tastes bad. I like all the items individually. Just sounded nasty together, but then again so does a chocolate bacon sundae.

Not even a bechamel sauce to start. Just the cream cheese mixture coating the noodles. Never seen it before. Really bland.

Sounds like almost a ground beef stroganoff. I haven't had stroganoff in forever! Makes me want to try to make that.

Yes, like a baked spaghetti/lasagna combo.

place half of the cooked spaghetti in the bottom of the dish. Spread cream cheese mixture over noodles. Top with remaining noodles. Pour meat sauce over noodles and top with mozzarella cheese

Yes, because that would be my first instinct or hot sauce. That certainly always works for me.

Sounds very similar. Should try mozzarella next time, probably will help.
