us landing a player that we have recruited for awhile and has just surfaced.. no names have been leaked but Carlos on VQ is saying

"its someone that people dont think the vols have a chance with" and he is not one of Wright, Mackey, Maggitt, Jernigan, Dawson, or Richardson..

Carlos also said "I didnt mention any names.......guy has been telling me a certain kid is coming for about three weeks.....he told me about 4 kids......two are already in the fold....one will be for sure and the other if he does what he said he was gonna do...will be the talk of signing day IMO..." and also mentions that he has bee hearing this name for 3 weeks or so.

Skeeter said last night that "if what im hearing tonight pans out we could have a huge day weds and a numbers issue on thurs. about all i can pass along for now."

and

"i cant give any details at the moment. if it pans out, we have some GREAT recruiters."

I don't think any of the 6 names from above would be a "surprise" if they came here, seems as if there really is a "big fish" this time guys.

and

"i think we get 4 or 5 comitts tomorrow.

and a suprise or two."

I'm not going to expect it but it sure as heck sounds good. What are the possibilities here? Who fits the profile?

I don't know who this big fish could be. The only guy I can think of that would make Tennessee the talk and shocker of the day is if we got Clowney. That won't happen.

Either way, I would love to be surprised. :D

Not that difficult.

Who would you be ecstatic to have, but haven't considered in awhile?

Bear in mind that the major recruiting services aren't listing us in the Top 3 for people who have already verbally committed to us - or who will sign tomorrow.

Start there. "Carlos" is spot on, at least from what ive heard, and has probably said too much already, honestly.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think it's Clowney but that would be ridiculous. How about Deanthony Thomas, Pagan....i'm running out of ideas. I'm looking throught the top 100 on Rivals and I'm not sure who else it could be. A few more guys who have visited that are committed elsewhere, but I can't see us taking more at that position. It almost has to be a LB, DT, DE.

Somebody posted a picture yesterday of the KouandJio kid with UT, auburn, and a bama hat in his hand. Didn't even know he knew about us, could it possibly be him?
