I recall seeing this in the NCAA rules.

Wouldn't it be the most classess move ever if a visiting team, knowing the other team was planning a white out, said 'nope, we are wearing the away jerseys'. Not that I would ever want my beloved Tennessee Volunteers to be 'that team' but...wow what a move. And...if you spanked the home team by four scores or something. What a message to send.

Do you think there are any coaches/admins that would say 'nope'? Seems like something Stoops at KY or Beamer at SC would do. Total Muschamp move, too.

I prefer Orange Jerseys, white britches and white helmet but, this will do. I hope they burn all those orange helmets. They are fugly.

BTW, I am old, old school. Does anyone remember when Miss State was called the "Maroons?" This was back when Auburn was the "Plainsmen." Tulane was in the SEC (that gave Vandy someone they could beat).

It's a cool look in this spot. In general, though, white pants > orange pants. Orange shirt > everything else. Dark mode > every uniform combo other than the traditional home uni. Oh, and if we ever do an orange helmet again it should be matte finish with the rifleman or something. Mix it up.

Yeah, they don’t even have them on hand, from what I understand. No one was pleased with how they looked on the field and on television, despite the years of trying to get the right shade and finish to make them look like the jerseys on TV.

This game scares me. Wise Guys are unloading on Miss ST. Similar to how they did on us when we played GA. They know what they are doing. The line dropped from Ga-10 to Ga-3.5, so needless to say the Sharps make a killing. It's not as drastic on this game, but still has dropped from -11 to -7.5.

As much as I thought orange helmets would be awesome, I traveled five hours to witness that bizzaro world game in Columbia a few years ago. They did not look good in person. At all. Looked very much like Clemson helmets. I dunno...maybe matte would have been better? Maybe they didn't get the 151C correct. Whatever it was...it was not good.

Black helmets finished the dark mode uniforms - huge improvement.

Grey helmets finished the smokey grey uniforms.- huge improvement.

In my opinion, the full orange still needs tweaking. Thinking out loud...what would Summit blue helmets look like on all that orange? 🤷‍♂️
