All orange (not the helmet) for MSU

Am I the only one who thinks this is likely a 2 touchdown victory? I just see their defense not being able to stop our run game, and is being able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides. I see us getting 3+ sacks and idk if Shapen is poised enough to not let the pressure bother him.
I don’t. Call it bvs but this is a rd game we usually 💩 the bed . State has weapons and our D has been suspect. This is Joeys first true rd game in a hostile environment.

We are already a heavily penalized team so things may be worse due to crowd noise

2022 - USC jr
2023- humiliated by Mizz
2024- Arkansas

2025- ???

Our best uniform by far, none of the others come close. The orange jersey and white pants are next and stormtrooper uniform is next. Wish these were our only 3 uniforms. Let the bashing me begin 😊

couldn't happen, we gave permission to the Cowbells to wear white...

Uniforms: In accordance with NCAA football rules, the home team shall wear dark jerseys and the visiting team shall wear white jerseys. White jerseys may be worn by the home team when the teams have agreed before the season. The Athletics Directors have agreed to always grant a home team’s request to wear white jerseys, in which case the visiting team shall wear dark jerseys.
We didn’t give permission, the SEC actually has a rule that supersedes the NCAA rule that you quoted. Each school is required to designate whether it will wear light or dark uniforms for each of its conference home games prior to the start of the season. The visiting team is then obligated to wear the contrasting color. Both teams may wear team color uniforms if both schools agree and the SEC office approves it as part of the home team designation process.

The rule was put in place so that visiting teams couldn’t deny schools the chance to do special events like this, but was mostly in reaction to Steve Spurrier and Florida denying LSU request to wear white at home, as they typically do, in the 90s.

This is another narrative that is overblown. Tennessee is in top 5 on road wins in the SEC since 2021.

Came from SEC Manual verbatim....

I don’t know which SEC manual you claim to be quoting from, but I can tell you the one that governs football operations requires the home team to designate the uniform they intend to wear in the summer, and the visiting team has to adjust. It’s no longer a request permission situation, and hasn’t been in some time to prevent gamesmanship. I’ve literally witnessed the equipment guys fill out the form.

It’s the same in basketball, although in basketball, teams don’t have to designate until a week before the contest. Same for all other sports. Home team dictates in every situation.

Link is posted....I will leave up to you to tell the SEC Commissoner his regs aren't updated

It’s not overblown if you want to be an elite team. Even Mike Keith commented on it today, stating he doesn’t blame fans being concerned due to prior road woes.

We had no business losing to Arkansas or Jr. Mizz was a good team but the game wasn’t competitive.

People are superstitious because we wore them at SC. Had we won the game, they would’ve loved them. Up close they look great, afar like Clemson. But I have to admit I would like to see them with the orange britches.

We should do 🍊 helmet and britches with black jersey or orange helmet w/ smoky gray on Halloween 🎃

🤣🤣🤣

Our defense isn’t very good and Lebby is a good offensive coach and will exploit that. State moved the ball last year on us and we had a much better defense last season. This is also a chance for a statement victory for Miss.St and to go 5-0 and get ranked in the Top 25. It’s a huge game for us as well we cannot afford to lay an egg here and drop to 0-2 in conference play before October. I have concerns with our defense but i don’t think State will able to stop or slow down our offense. Vols win 45-33
Agree, our defense is not good. Hopefully Ms St defense is not good too. 38-27 Vols

Should've gone with the blackout unis, but outside of that (and realistically, it's goin to be too warm for those), this was really the only choice. I hope we beat them so bad they don't try another whiteout for a couple of decades.
No thanks on the black uniform. We are Orange and White!

Need to see our defense hold somebody under 24 pts before I'm willing to say that
