I know this will be deemed by many to be a frivolous post, but post it I will none the less. Last week, while sitting on our patio, I noticed that our Tennessee flag didn't look right. By taking appropriate action and re-orienting it to its proper position I immediately felt the karma of our Vols return to its positive and rightful state. Bama game will only validate that fact. GBO

I unknowingly had a friend's bama koozie in our kitchen. My girlfriend found it when we were down 24-3 on saturday and gave it back to its owner and said "I think this has been bringing bad luck to our house." He used it for the first half of the bama game until he realized the damn thing really way bad luck!

Actually, as much as I would like to put the blame on someone else, it's really my fault. I shaved the morning of BGSU, WCU & UGA. I shaved after OK, FLA & ARK. I'm not superstitious but I am a little stitious. I'm going to correct my mistakes. Sorry everyone!

Haha. Was coming to post my winning keys to victory:

Did not put out or Tennessee Volunteers flag.

Did not shower or shave.

Made homemade pizza instead of burgers or chili.

Did not read any live game commentary on twitter.

Victory!

I thought it was my fault! This past Saturday, I wore a new Vol shirt I picked up in Knoxville last week. I did not use my Power T coozie during the game, and I sat on the opposite end of the couch. My bad guys, I will repeat this process from now on!

I am sorry to all, I have done something different this Saturday that I haven't done in a big game this season until this past Saturday. I wasn't able to watch the game starting from the last 10 min of the second qtr ending after the game. I started to watch the last 5min of the gamecast on my phone. What solidifies this crazy assumption is, I wasn't able to watch the end of the South Carolina game when SCjr was #7. So from now on I will make a commitment to you all that whenever UT is down I will stop watching. I will take one for the team. Again I am very sorry to all and I will take the blame for this season and not CBJ.

The season turned when I found an Orange and White marble on the street on Tuesday and had it in my pocket Saturday. It worked for Tennessee and unintentionally Texas.

I didn't clean up the dog poop in by back yard Saturday morning the way I always do. Not going to clean it up again until the end of the season.

Pretty sure a combination of things was my fault. It had been warm here in Indiana up until this weekend, so I had not needed to wear my Tennessee Sweatshirt. Broke it out this weekend and we won.

Also I went and visited my sister in Atlanta, GA last Saturday and stayed there until Tuesday of this week. I took my UT polo and wore it Monday. Pretty sure my being in Georgia and wearing my gear cursed UGA. I had previously worn that shirt prior to the UF and OK games. I had actually planned on burning it.

Now I must figure out how to manage trips to the state of each of the teams we play, the week of the game, so that I can wear my shirt while there and curse them.

For the first time, I wore TN Orange on Friday, Georgia colors on Saturday, and I picked against the Vols, TWICE!

Therefore...

It really is all y'alls fault!:)

GBO!!!

Well, the hat I wore on Saturday was the first time I wore it the entire game. We won so now I will wear it next game the entire game.

We all deserve blame. I lost my lucky UT sweatshirt years ago.
Found it in the basement Tuesday. So, you know.

As there is "string theory" in physics, that states all things are connected across the universe, this reversal of fortune was due to the internet "thread theory".All the behavior that seems to have worked for individuals to affect the outcome, was actually a combined effort by all true VFL fans.My contribution was to wear my hat forward during the first half and reverse for the second half. With no nervous taking it off and putting back on numerous times in frustration.

After the goal line fumble I slammed my right hand so hard on the table(I'm right handed), that I sprained my wrist. I was then forced to drink my Kickapoo Joy Juice Left handed for the remainder of the game. Thus, the turn of events in the game (and the win) was a direct result of this very fortunate injury, (with a little help of the Kickapoo Joy Juice). Needless to say, I will be drinking left handed for the remainder of the season.

Will you have to switch to left handed smokes as well? :)
