dagreek who would you suggest as new coach ?

I would select from a list of (No particular order)

Mike Leach (Proven)
Josh McDaniels (Brillant Offensive Mind)
Al Golden (Proven HC)
Greg Shiano (Has made chicken salad out of chicken s**t his entire career)

Has to be a big name and young, no college assistant coaches. I want HC experiance. We must be willing to pay the coach more than anyone else.

OK Flathead, lets play a game.

You list all of the factual reasons Derek Dooley should be the head coach. I dont want to here any fourth coach in four years. I dont want to here anything about one more year. I want factual achievements in this mans career (Not Saban's) that has shown you enough to justify him being the head coach.

I will list the factual reasons he should not be the coach.

1) Losing record 26-32 over 5 seasons. His breakdowns on his wins are as followed:

1. Central Arkansas
2. New Mexico State
3. Utah State
4. Idaho
5. San Jose State
6. Mississippi State (wow)
7. Southwestern Louisiana
8. Idaho
9. Fresno State
10. San Jose State
11. Utah State
12. New Mexico State
13. Northen Illinois
14. Nicholls State
15. Hawaii
16. New Mexico State
17. San Jose State
18. Tennessee-Martin
19. UAB
20. Memphis
21. Ole Miss (wow)
22. Vandy (wow)
23. Kentucky (wow)
24. Montana
25. Cinncinnati (wow)
26. Buffalo

So, out of 58 games, this is very impressive list of victories. Out of five years, he has a total of 5 wins over BSC teams. That just happens to be the same amount of wins over FCS teams.

Still waiting on your list.

You are an ignorant troll. If you want to stir a bunch of trouble, at least learn to spell so your ingnorance is not overly exposed. To take something in audibly is to HEAR not freaking here. I am an Alabama fan and no one enjoys a vol nation meltdown anymore than I do, but anyone whether a fan of UT or not that cannot see that Dooley is a very good coach that inherited a world of crap and it will take time to reverse said world of crap is an ingorant person that has no understanding of football.

For the people that think we are simply to youth or do not have enough talent, you keep drinking the Dool-Aid. I have yet to understand how in a sport that has a playing career of 4 years, we can claim we are too young. when these freshman are seniors, we will great, maybe, but we will suck the next three years.

I like mine w/ crushed ice please. I am not 'to youth' but I can understand youth on a team. When our freshmen are seniors do you not think we may have some junior depth behind it? I think we still get to sign players the next few years unless I missed the memo. Oops, my next drink just arrived. Cheers! GBO

Yo, DaGreek......as bad as it sucks to say, the Bammer makes more sense and has a better outlook on our team than you do.

Please, by all means, rebut my comment. Please.

Bama had 4 coaches in 7 years before Saban was hired and had been on probation. He won in two years.

The two coaches before Shula had zero impact on the difficulty of Saban's job. Shula recruited well and set the table nicely for Saban. Bama won 10 games two years before Saban arrived.

There was some talent when Saban took over but what he had to deal with most was attitude. I think Dooley is dealing with both a lack of talent and attitude problems. He is trying to instill a drive into guys that simply have not shown the ability or the heart to play in the SEC. I actually do wish you guys would run him off so Bama won't have to face him year in and year out. Hire another coach, not give him the time or tools to be successful, then repeat the process. To the OP, Dooley wipes more football knowledge out of his eye every morning than you will ever have.

For the people that say we cannot get rid of Dooley because that will be the fourth coach in four years. OK, we will continue to suck so we dont get worse.

KEEPING DOOLEY IS LIKE PISSING THE BED TO STAY WARM.

He has got to go, Please Mr. Hart, bring us a real coach.

Whomever thinks CDD is best coach for our program probably also believes they'll win lottery each time they play. There are MANY MANY coaches we could get that would do a better job. CDD is average (at best) if he stayed here ten years he'd win 7-8 games a few times maybe just maybe one 9 win season but never a BCS or SEC title.

To the bold part: Name one.

To the sentence directly following the bold part: Since you can tell the future, how about you tell me what pick, and to whom Tyler Bray goes in the NFL Draft??

I'll wait.
