All is well, keep drinking your dool-aid

I think the intelligence of the poster is apparent, as well as all the other post's about the coaching staff. And I just knew we would have ten wins this year, rats! I think Saban got beat by La Teck and S. Miss or somebody at about that level his first couple of years at Alabama. How is Dooley making bad throws and dropping balls that are clearly catchable. Until I can call what play we are going to run before we run it, and it is one of the same 8 plays Fulmer ran every game, I am willing to let the team develop.
Actually he lost to la. monroe in 07 but his next year he went undefeated til the sec champ game.

Well he has to have atleast one more year or any other coach will look at the job as a death sentence.

I think we'll win 8 games next year, and bring in another good class. After that, if we don't win, it's all on Dooley.

Even you rabid Dooley azz-kissers have to admit that this team is not well-coached. The team is still making all these unforced errors- like jumping off -side on critical downs, other guys pass receivers running free down the field, personal fouls, etc. Mr Orange pants with his limitless bag of excuses is NOT the man to lead us of this wilderness in which we are lost. MAMA DOOLEYS son is a loser, loser, loser. Go back to the law- you are not a good coach.

I don't think we had one offsides penalty. we had some false starts. we didn't have many of those either. just came a bad times.

For the people that think we are simply to youth or do not have enough talent, you keep drinking the Dool-Aid. I have yet to understand how in a sport that has a playing career of 4 years, we can claim we are too young. when these freshman are seniors, we will great, maybe, but we will suck the next three years.

For the people that say we cannot get rid of Dooley because that will be the fourth coach in four years. OK, we will continue to suck so we dont get worse.

KEEPING DOOLEY IS LIKE PISSING THE BED TO STAY WARM.

He has got to go, Please Mr. Hart, bring us a real coach.

This is not basketball. It's very rare for true freshmen to come right in and succeed in football. I'm surprised that so many cannot understand that.

Those are all signs of youth and inexperience on the field. Really, you didn't know that?

If nothing else, this staff is worth keeping around for another season or two just for their ability to recruit. If they load us up over the next two years, and then split, it won't be a horrible step backwards. If they left NOW, however, it would set us way back.

They can recruit. I'm not sure that they can coach, especially when it gets tough, but I love the players that they've brought in/ are bringing in.

I don't know how long Dooley will last, but I do believe that if and when he leaves, he'll leave a team for the next guy to work with, and that's a helluva lot more that he had when he came in.

If I was this guy I would be putting my resume together for some Div. II coaching jobs...

Man someone cut the string to his whistle...he is not whistle having worthy anymore IMO.

Funny, after the Cincinatti game, most were lauding him as the greatest OC of all time.

I guess losing you two best offensive players suddenly makes you a bad coach?

He "expanded" the offense under Worley. Yet everybody watching the game knew exactly what the play call was.

OK Flathead, lets play a game.

You list all of the factual reasons Derek Dooley should be the head coach. I dont want to here any fourth coach in four years. I dont want to here anything about one more year. I want factual achievements in this mans career (Not Saban's) that has shown you enough to justify him being the head coach.

I will list the factual reasons he should not be the coach.

1) Losing record 26-32 over 5 seasons. His breakdowns on his wins are as followed:

1. Central Arkansas
2. New Mexico State
3. Utah State
4. Idaho
5. San Jose State
6. Mississippi State (wow)
7. Southwestern Louisiana
8. Idaho
9. Fresno State
10. San Jose State
11. Utah State
12. New Mexico State
13. Northen Illinois
14. Nicholls State
15. Hawaii
16. New Mexico State
17. San Jose State
18. Tennessee-Martin
19. UAB
20. Memphis
21. Ole Miss (wow)
22. Vandy (wow)
23. Kentucky (wow)
24. Montana
25. Cinncinnati (wow)
26. Buffalo

So, out of 58 games, this is very impressive list of victories. Out of five years, he has a total of 5 wins over BSC teams. That just happens to be the same amount of wins over FCS teams.

Still waiting on your list.

Really in depth analysis there.

Troy Calhoun turned us down, I doubt Fulmer would want to be HCAUTK right now or anytime in the near future.

Don't blame Derek Dooley. Blame Hamilton, who apparently consulted ancestry.com before hiring a head football coach.

Let's see what Dooley has in the tank after he's gotten four recruiting classes into his squad. That is a bitter drink to swallow. But patience is what is called for now.

All of the blame for the program should be directed towards Hamilton.

Hamilton should have got more involved after the 2000 season and turned the heat up on Fulmer

Hamilton waited until Fulmer had ran the program in the ground and the conference had upgraded with Meyer, Saban, Richt, Spurrier and Miles before pulling the trigger (not good)

Hamilton never had a list of football coaches as a back up plan, wasted money with a 3rd party for a list of coaches and we all know how that has worked out up to now
