Transfer kickers sometimes perform poorly in a different environment. I’ve watched some of these games and guys were missing like 30 yarders and were previous starters at other schools

A lot of blame today kicker gets some blame that is a makeable kick for most kickers. Defense gets a lot of blame give up points on 4th and 6, Heupel gets plenty of blame he sucks it up and tries to run out the clock. Aguilar no blame he played a tremendous game did everything you need a QB to do just wasn't enough to overcome the others.

None of you understand what that kinda pressure feels like with 100k holding their breath. Max was clearly nervous in the minutes leading up to the kick because Heupel started going super conservative once we passed the 40. Therefore, Heupel allowed the pressure to build. We all knew he wasn't making that.

The head coach left him on the sidelines thinking about it, instead of just running him out there. But no, let’s run 2 or 3 meaningless plays. Yeah he missed the kick. But that’s as much on the coach as the kicker.
