ESPN.com All-America teams - ESPN

ESPN predictions skew heavily towards two teams, Kansas and Kentucky that possess amazing talent.

Although we ended up losing to Ohio State when they had Oden, TN basketball under Pearl has traditionally done a good job when our big men go up against more highly regarded big men.

We have the opportunity against Purdue (probably in the early season Tournament), Kansas and Kentucky twice to see our big men play with a chip on their shoulder.

Based on last year, we need to be more concerned about a Jodie Meeks level guard. Thank God it looks like with all their strengths, UK looks more like Memphis with super athletes that are not great outside shooters. TN seems better on defense with everything but deadly three point guys. Christmas who was on like a light switch and Meeks destroyed us.

I am looking forward to seeing this team challenged as underdogs in the regular season...

I don't understand how any of these experts can put John Wall on the 1st or 2nd team all american teams or all SEC for that matter. He is just a Freshman! Remember Hopson was supposed to be one and done for us. There's not enough basketballs (i.e shots) to keep all the talent happy at KY.

Maybe you recall Durant, Beasley, Love, Mayo, Rose etc.

To bad these kids didnt have 5 other kids to share the ball with these kids were the only players on their teams besides Rose....

You have no idea what you're talking about whatsoever. None. Nada. Zilch.

Do some homework.

Wrong again. 3 more changes to your story and you'll have something right. Then we'll get to tOSU freshmen. Then Carmelo. Then.....

So Durant, Beasely and Mayo had stacked teams? And are you serious Odom had a stacked team around him and so did Melo.

Look at the rosters. You said those guys were the lone scoring options. They weren't in the the least. None of them.

Oden and Conley were stout true freshmen and made large impacts as did melo. Essentially, your initial point was mindless and it's gone downhill from there.
