Ryan Robinson, UT spokesman, said coach Butch Jones is aware
of the ruling but said at this time Johnson’s status has not changed

Greg Isaacs, Johnson’s attorney, said: `We are pleased that
Alexis Johnson was cleared by the Tennessee Student Judicial Panel.’’

Oh, this is huge as far as DL depth goes. I hope that Mr. Johnson has learned a valuable life lesson here, and has been keeping in shape. He really has a place on this team if he is as advertised. BOOM!

I say suspend him for a game (or a half as many teams do), then free him to play

(If this was the last thing keeping him from playing besides CBJ)

Seems like everything is finally to turn up Aces for us Hoss. It's about damn time.

Agreed. Hope Butch doesn't wait til October to reinstate him, that he goes ahead and does so ASAP and that Alexis is in reasonably good shape so that he's ready to help by the Florida game.

Btw, who you callin' Hoss, pal?

I'm pretty sure if Duncan calls you hoss it's not a bad thing.

I agree. If he has been cleared, let him play. Saban lets players play even when they're not cleared, so does McElwain. If he has been cleared, his punishment has been served, let the boy play.
