I am surprised people still feel this way. Full disclosure, I haven't searched for any opinion polls on the topic but my gut tells me America would elect the right woman for prez. This country is still not ready for a woman to be President. Simple fact. Neither Hillary nor Kamala could beat as sorry a person/candidate as Trump and that says it all. A ticket of Kamala/AOC would get obliterated and won’t happen.

On the other side, the R’s better come up with someone other than the empty suit known as JD Vance. Personally I think Rubio may be a better candidate than anyone the R’s have offered up in years and would probably get my vote. At least he appears to have some sense unlike the rest of this administration.
AOC as President? NO! If we go woman, we need a Maggie Thatcher type female, nit a hyper screecher. Gretchen Whitner, maybe. Kamala Harris, uh, longshot, and risky, but... Michelle Obama, would be somewhat popular, but a magnet for MAGA hate, and at risk for assassination from the get-go.
I like a Liz Cheney - Elizabeth Warren ticket.
In the absence of a viable third party candidate, my picks at this time is -- Andy Beshear, Prez, and Mark Kelly, Vice Prez.
Now, haters unite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just being realistic. Get back to me when they do. Hint: Neither you nor I will be alive to see it.I am surprised people still feel this way. Full disclosure, I haven't searched for any opinion polls on the topic but my gut tells me America would elect the right woman for prez.
No disagreement that a Kamala/AOC ticket is DoA.
Oh I would too. Never said I wouldn’t vote for a woman for President. I’m just saying that there is a significant portion of the populace that will not. I’ll believe it when I see it.Additional full disclosure:
I would vote for a polka dotted transvestite black supremacist who kicks puppies for fun if she would shrink government, spending, and return us to our constitutional framework.
I did for a long time but the country has changed a lot in the last 40 to 50 years. Obama hit at the right time and caught a wave. Just don’t think it’s changed enough to elect a woman yet especially if Kamala and AOC are representative of the choices.Did you feel the same about electing a black man?
