It's pretty amazing. I love calling that a Cheney-esque statement, mostly because it is but also because it makes progressives go nuts when you compare something AOC said to Cheney.

The amazing thing with Cheney is that it did not matter what occurred - the decision he took was still right. No WMD, weren't welcomed as liberators, AQI/ISIS came into Iraq, emboldened Iran and gave them more power in the region...it didn't matter if all the given justifications for the war turned out to be false premises or if there were unintended consequences. To him the decision to invade was still the right one, no matter what.
