Alex Bullard Transfer

does he count towards this years recruiting class or does he have no effect on it since he is a transfer?

Really? Cam Newton and Terrell Pryor would like to laugh at your expense, sir...

You look like will sasso

if he is a walk-on this year, doesn't count on in coming class or 85 number.

if he is on scholarship and can play, counts on in coming class and 85 number

I thought he was definitely walking on? Is that still to be determined?

True but Dallas is a back up to me. If this kid is a OT, or incoming freshmen can take his spot. No doubt J. James will start at LT and be All SEC.

Agreed, this kid is a 4* recruit, #7 OL in '09. He will start at either guard or tackle this fall if eligible. Our line has learned a lot but they are a long way from one of the best in the nation. I'm really excited about our incoming o. linemen

he is walking on right now because he has had little discussion with staff. he needs to get enrolled next week.

We will have room to place him on scholarship on the roster. My guess would be if we end up not signing 26 kids (very unlikely), we would put him on scholarship in February.

eventually, he will go on scholarship IMO

Thanks L, even if he does count, I don't think we can complain. He could count as 2 ppl as far as I'm concerned. We need OL depth, and this is a very good start.

When could he be placed on scholarship not to count against the 26? After signing day, fall semester?

probably next January - let me re-think this...

if we sign 29 to LOI's, I think then it would be January if 26 of the 29 enroll.

If we sign 28 and less than 26 get enrolled in fall, I think we could put him on then..

I think that is how it would work

Two questions..

1.) His Rivals profile had him listed at 275lbs coming out of HS. How big is he now?

2.) Why did he not show interest in TN in the first place? Did we not pursue him? Did he not care for Kiffin and his staff?

1- his weight is down. had mono this year. not sure what it is right now.

2. His late Dad wanted him to go to ND. He like Tennessee and Fulmer (fulmer was here) but did as his Dad wanted

We were in his top 2 and it was Fulmer.

Found out on another board that apparently his dad died and he wants to go to school closer to his mom now. Not good circumstances at all, but all the same, welcome to Big Orange Country.
Had my father die while I was @ UT and needed to return. Empathy much. :cray:

To Alex.

WELCOME BACK ! :good!:

tennessee will have alot of big o linemen some of those 285 to 300 pounders that can play d tackle should move over there to give vols more size and depth, counting redshirts the vols will have between 12 and 15 o linemen that are either freshmen or soph if all 2011 commits sign
