I'm sure that by now, everyone is bummed about the news of Jermod McCoy being ruled out against Alabama yesterday. Not only is this secondary chewed up, but this entire defense is too, and I refuse to believe that this pass and rush defense is anywhere better than bottom three in the SEC. However, we are really good at getting pressure on the QB at times, and we do force a lot of turnovers and sacks (thank god for something).

That being said, this offense will have to score at least 30+ points to win this football game down in Tuscaloosa. I have complete and total faith in this offense. The only thing in our way of this game (outside of our own god forsaken D) will be how Bama's defense will address our passing attack. We should be able to run for 100+ yards against them, but if Bama stuffs the pass, game over. This should be a high-scoring affair.

Looking forward to this game! GBO! 🍊

I think we need 48 plus points to win. And I also think that’s possible with our offense . . . But unless we turn them over (and our defense has been good at that) . . . Bama will score early and often.

Well said. Bama has one of the best pass defenses in the SEC while playing the 2nd most difficult schedule. Plus, they turn you over while Ty Simpson rarely throws picks.

I could see Joey forcing a couple this game and things getting sideways on us if we play from behind. I also think Bama will be bake to run the ball on us.

All week I have been leaning towards taking the over in this game but your perspective makes me second guess that. If they turn us over a couple of times they will control the game and take away our opportunities to score.

I didn’t realize Bama’s pass D was that good until yesterday.

Plus, on the rd v. two top15 teams in GA and Mizz.

Yep. I actually think the path to winning is two things...getting to QB and being able to run the ball to control the clock and set up play action. If we can run the ball, I think it's our best chance to win.

I think if we don’t pressure Simpson he will pick us apart. Have to get to him make him rush throws get sacks hopefully turnovers.

In regards to Alabama's passing defense, Alabama has played Vandy, Missouri & Georgia. That's the numbers 7, 8 & 11th qb's in the league.. We will have our chances at plays downfield. All we have to do is go down there and shoot our bullets. We made plays against UGA and we'll make plays against Bama.

Their O scoring number per game is misleading. They play a ball control offense and make long 10 play drives. I am sure that will be the strategy against us to limit our O opportunities. Our D is not good enough to stop them IMO.

We can’t play this game from behind to much … that simple …. It would be nice if our run defense showed up for this one and make them one dimensional

Our defense is forcing about two turnovers a game and have scored 4 touchdowns i believe. We will need that and more to have a chance tomm night.
Yes and not capitalizing on our turnovers by scoring killed us last week. Zero points off three turnovers is kinda pathetic.

If we're able to generate some turnovers this week, the offense MUST capitalize with points. We were good enough to beat Arkansas regardless but that wont be the case this week.
