It amazes me that a face mask can be ripped from the helmet yet there's no penalty called. Face masks just don't fall apart on their own very often.

Punt didnt appear to break the plane. Plays like that and ball spots are easy ways to screw a team without being extremely obvious. They're subjective calls to an extent.

Thats not the first time thats happened this season.. I dont remember seeing face masks being ripped off like this before this season. Wonder what the deal is

That spot on 4th and the punt soon after are fairly convincing evidence of officiating bias.

I believe it happened to Fournette against Ole Miss a couple of weeks ago.

Good lord, those both hit Louisiana the same year didn't they? Less than a month after each other.

Yes. 2005 was the worst hurricane season in history in terms of # of storms produced. Growing up in FL, I've developed a keen memory for hurricanes haha.
