Best team we've had in 15 years. One year Butch. :banghead2:

Y'all thread police can thank ESPN and Butch Jones for the 49-10 shellacking by our biggest rival...at home.

Edited.

Last year's team was better than this year's imo. As were the teams in 2003, 2004 & 2007.

NCAA do their job? Not likely to ever happen because the money thrown out to the team's and conferences is too big. Alabama is only showing the future of so called "college football". Do kids really love living 3-4 years in Tuscaloosa? I don't think so. Time for the cheap NFL to step up to the plate and pay these better players coming out of HS. Recruiting should go away, replaced with an NFL draft for kids coming out of high school to play minor league ball just like baseball. At least 60 drafted and paid players per Power 5 team with each player making $25-$50k each. That's about a $240M investment by the entire league or about $8M per NFL team. Certainly affordable. No need for NCAA oversight. No need for kids to attend a classroom.

while i agree somewhat. HS kids have no business in the NFL. This CTE research backs up a lot of what Im saying. Also, the 'one and done' scenario is one of the reasons ive lost interest in basketball.

I do think CFB players have a fulltime job playing football, its essentially a FTJ while in school. Lotsa kids who come out od bit time athletics are well prepped for the business world...lots of businesses gobble ex athletes up cause theyre disciplined, competitive, and mature. I do think CFB players should be paid, and, also given actual business classes on money management and investment. (see the 30 for 30 special on how many Ex NFL players are flat broke).
