Is it just me or are Alabama fans appearing out of nowhere? I have never seen so many Alabama fans before, then I notice, the clouds where gone, so it was time for the fairweather fans to come out. The Alabama fan base has been reproducing (with family members) and growing bigger and bigger and bigger. There is only one way to stop this, open up a can of TENNESSEE WHOOP @$$!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I was driving to Bama last week. You are right they are coming out of the woodwork like roaches in a kitchen that hasn't been cleaned in months. Guess if you haven't had much to be proud of the last 10 years, you really whip it up when you do get something.

I was just talking with someone from MTSU about this yesterday. Bama fans are popping up like crazy on a Tennessee dominated campus. I know we are MTSU but the majority of students support UT

Actually, I agree and I have the misfortune of being a UT fan in 'Bama. This state is full of fairweather fans. I remember back in 1997 I couldn't find an Aubrn fan to save my life... Then... guess what? After they started dominating UA, EVERYBODY wore that logo.

Tell me about it, I live near B'ham everybody is a Bama fan. I dont think some of the younger fans really know how deep the hate goes with Tennessee/Alabama.
Me personally i'm glad Bama is having a good season. It just gives our Vols more incentive to beat their crimson tails come week after next.

Wait till they lose a game.

As I have been Living in Alabama since 1974, I have noticed that once a game is lost, they run back to their hiding place and drink their Bear Bryant version of their Coca Cola and eat their Golden Flake Potato chips until they cry themselves to sleep. They say UT fans are spoiled, but still every year many of them act like every year is a championship year.

All I know is that if Saban loses to UT and or Auburn, he better have a good backup plan.

i live in the hades of football, right on the tennessee/alabama state line. its a mortally heck around this area year in , year out . the ut fans are more laid back, even when we did good years back. the bama fans seem to allways run around toot there little horns around here and brag / brag/. which they do have something now to gloat over. i have noticed lateley a lot less ut vol flags and a 50 percent increase in bama flags, i think what we have here is a bunch of ship jumpers.

I have to say that is pretty typical for any fanbase. Even down here on the coast I see a ton of UT flags when we are doing well. Haven't seen near as many the past couple of weeks. If I was a bama fan I would be strutting around too. It's what makes college football fun.

When you have 87 out of the roughly 100 possible national titles, it must be tough to avoid the entitlement mentality.

Down here in MS. about 10 miles from the AL. state line, there are enough band wagon riders, you could start many carnivals. However, I'm going to the MS. State game today and watch the Buldogs rip Vandy. Hopefully!

Everyone loves a winner. I had a guy that worked for me who was a Vandy student and fan, always quick to bash the Vols on any loss, arrest, or bad news. When I was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl win over Virginia, imagine my pleasure of seeing him decked in orange as I ran into him on Bourbon St. after the game. I still remember the look of horror on his face when I approached him. The fringe element of any fanbase thrives on opportunities such as Bama's this year. It's nothing new.

HAHA
Among the many things there are to hate about bammers:

Their entitlement philosophy on championships because of their fake Nat'l Champs.

The bandwagon bammer. Nooga has always been infested with them. Of course being so close to the line a lot of them may be from bamma and move the Nooga for work.

Which ever one (I can't remember) is the one by the c.d. store has nicer people I think. The other one on the other side of the mall is the better shop. I think the nicer people is Sports Stop and the better shop is The College Station.

*Disclaimer: Both are good shops with nice people

Alabama fans crawl out of the gutter at the first sight of success. The reason why there are so many Bama fans in the Nashville area is because it is the easiest/closest major city to move to from that $%&hole of a state called Alabama.
