Was it just me or did it look like bammer just gave up on that 3rd and 5 by the endzone that jones scored on they just looked like they quit on the play, like they thought it was over and there wasnt enough time for us to do anything

They were really tired.

At that point in the game I think they were backpedaling big time. It was a great play call and the only player who could have made the play on Jones had to choose between him or the RB coming out of the backfield (Hardesty I think). Either one of them would have scored.

We had them tired in the second half. Either our offense just played one hell of a game or Bama isn't as good as advertised.

Yep they were gasping for breath for all the talk about their great depth I didn't see very many different players coming in the game. I am not impressed with their D. If we played them 10 times we would win 8.

Just like you've won the last three? And yes, that Bama defense really looked gassed on that field goal try...

Bama has won 20 straight regular season games with a D that's just soooooo gassed. It's amazing how bad Bama's D is.. Wow.. Do me a favor: Lose the bravado until your team can actually win TWO straight. Talk is cheap.

K fair enough as long as you will take the bigger challenge and lose the bravado until YOUR team can actually win two straight WITHOUT cheating...:p

Good luck with that pitiful excuse for a QB you have. You better hope that defense has a lot of gas left in the tank, they're going to need it.

Apparently somebody touched a nerve here.

In any case, the despite the fact that you're the Bravado Gestapo, it won't be going away any time soon. Your all-world team backed into a victory in a game where they were favored by 17. We're enjoying the beginning of a great ride, and your indignant whining only makes it that much more entertaining.

It's no longer just talk. Saturday provided a glimpse of the future.

Actually, you may be at the beginning of a great ride, or you may not. You haven't won anything yet. Your team has lost four games this year. In Saban's first year at Bama, the team lost six games. Since, then they're 20-2. Will Kiffin put up numbers like that? We'll see... To do it, he has to compete every year against Saban and Meyer. We'll see how he does.

As for Bama backing into a victory: Hard to figure out how a team that is leading the entire game can back into a victory. Especially when they blocked a field goal. It wasn't a lucky miss. They destroyed the UT line and blocked what COULD have been the game winning field goal. But "ifs" and "could have beens" are for losers.

And whining? Ah.. excuse me, but your coach is blaming the refs, and some headset conspiracy. And yet we're whining? Hardly.

He almost beat your boy Saban in his very first attempt, and with much less talent. It's a promising start.

Especially when they blocked a field goal. It wasn't a lucky miss.

I suppose you're forgetting the other two botched field goals (namely, the first one that fell a few yards short). A decent kicker gives us that game.

And whining? Ah.. excuse me, but your coach is blaming the refs, and some headset conspiracy. And yet we're whining? Hardly.

Work on your reading comprehension, my big city friend. I clearly said "your indignant whining." Nothing plural about the word "your." Alabama fans have been surprisingly gracious this year, but people like you simply don't know any better, for whatever reason.

But please, continue to whine that we're not giving your team enough credit.

I'd like to point out that half of those losses have come with us being not ranked against the #1 ranked team at the time. If holding two #1 teams to losses of less than 10 pts ain't making a statement something's wrong or it could just be very good examples of underrated vs. overrated.

Just so you know, it doesn't matter what you think your opinion does not matter to the Bama football team in any way. The game is over what is done is done. Might as well retort to the "can't wait 'til next year".

Well, up until this point, I was convinced that their entire team would read every word I write over here on a Tennessee message board, but now you've ruined my dream.

Thanks.
