Reading this thread is the first that I have heard of any kind of Bama connection. The local media has only said that The FBI was one of the groups in the search and that have taken files and computers from these 3 dealerships. They have also said that it is over tax evasion.

It always comes back to BAMA cheating. That's why you can't beat us? So.....logic would tell you that UT cheated during the mid 90's on up to recent times. I'd like to think that neither are true. We got caught during the Debose years. Fulmer was able to avoid any probation during his years.

Not necessarily. I have read a number of posts on here and have heard from a number of Vol fans. It's a pretty common accusation....especially of late. Some people see a headline and don't read the article. Over the past couple of years, BAMA has had a handful of disciplinary issues. They've been dealt with....especially with the new staff as they dealt with problem players from the previous coaching staff. It happens. You could argue the same thing is happening with UT currently. The probation for BAMA is OVER! We did the crime and we did the time. It just frustrates me how one fan base cant get over the fact that things happened along time ago. You guys keep harping on us about the "Bear". He's dead. We've moved on, you guys should too.

You should not concern yourself with a small minority. You have been around long enough to see that the majority on here are level headed. This story is a good example. The majority were skeptical of this story’s ties to Bama and the OP was pretty much skewered.

This is true but we no longer feel the need to find a coach who was one of "Bear's Boys". We don't sit around crying that he's no longer here. Bear was a great coach. The houndstooth hats are in honor of him.

This response requires a two-fold answer.

1) we no longer feel the need to find a coach who was one of "Bear's Boys---You no longer feel the need to find one of his boys, because you found yourself a sleazy coach you could pay off to make you relevant for a few years before he says "I'm not leaving Alabama", and then commences to run to a less defunct NFL franchise.

2) We don't sit around crying that he's no longer here---yes you do...and you have been doing it for 27 years.

Did you ever notice how those Bama fans put the toilet tissue rolls on the tide boxes. There is obviously a reason for that. You have to wipe it to keep their version of Tide from stinking.
