according to today's u s a today, sheridan has them as a 17.5 favorite. probably will go up to 19 by game time. sounds about right. just too many weapons

That line is WAY too low.

Bama's RB's + our pathetic tackling = full-blown rout

16.5??? That's it? I'm confident that the off week helped us rest and gather ourselves, but I still think that the sheer talent pool and depth on Bama and the lack thereof likewise on our team causes us to lose by 20 or >. I hate it, but I prefer to be a realist and prepare myself than to go into it with a sense of false hope.

In other news, EXCELLENT win for UT-Chattanooga over Georgia Southern this weekend. I never thought I'd see my alumnus play so well for an entire game. Clearly, BJ Coleman has taken this team by the horns and is the right QB for the job, and Russ Huesmann is the right man for the job as the HC. Makes me wonder what would have been had BJ stayed in Knoxville.

I am really surprised by this. Wasn't Georgia almost as much of a favorite (I know, road vs. home, but this seems low).

Hmmm. I see a forfeit coming.

Come on. Here are the scores from the Tenn-bammer games from the past 40 years:
Most are hard fought, close games. Even in 2005 and 2008, the games weren't blowouts. (2008 bama scored late to pad the lead--it was a close game until the 4th qtr) This year shouldn't be different.

BJ sucks. He's now playing against a bunch of players that can't cut it in Division I-A, and he's still only 4-2 on the season even against lesser competition.

BJ freaking Coleman? You have got to be kidding me. How about what would our record have been last year and this year if Mallet had gone to Tennessee.

Mallet would have been an interesting get....were we looking at his QB coach from Michigan (Loeffler?) for offensive coordinator instead of Clawson, or for QB coach here under Clawson?

I hate to say it but I've taken off the Orange colored glasses and thrown away the kool-aid, Bama is just too tough, they beat us by at least 21.

Is mcelroy having problems? I have been told here in bammer that the coaches are checking him into a pass and he's changing it to a running play... they said him and ingram are not happy with each other.. my response was we can't stop either so y'all will be fine.. where I live they are nervous about the game
