the only reason to protect LSU at the time was to have the marquee matchup with Florida. they served their purpose and now they have to protect their other comodity.

I would have to agree with you we did get lucky at the end of the game but you have to admit ya'll weren't very unlucky either. If ingram hadn't fumbled the ball the game would have been over before the kick. Luck is part of football.

If Lincoln didn't miss 2 kicks before that, we wouldn't have rushed the punter and would have had the ball back anyways. But I agree that luck is part of the game.
