Cal had no problem finding creative positions for Milt Wagner and Rod Strickland on the Memphis basketball staff. I'm sure Lane can find a way if this is really what Al wants to do.

That's not Al....it's his younger brother...uh...Art Wilson. Yeah, that's the ticket. It's Al's younger brother, Art.

QUICK! Someone get Art a uniform. :good!:

So you'd have no problem with a Fulmer relic on the sidelines?

I didn't hear Wilson having idiotic Fuad Reviez/Tim Irwinesque crying fits on the radio all of last season.

"That's our coach.".

Just the thought of that still induces vomit...

Keep it simple for dummies like me (um yeah) and answer the question...AW...Yes or No?...I know Al and he would bring the heat our program needs!

Then again...skip it...Nobody cares about a self important, self proclaimed financial genius that could buy VN with a stroke of your imaginary pen.

calling Al a Fulmer relic is insulting to one of the best players to play at UT

No disrespect meant to Al. He's one of the all time greats. I only used the word in reference to Wilson being in the historical temple of Fulmer.

Funny, didn't see him making a public fool of himself in The Fired Coach's defense. I guess Irwin just loves "his coach" more than Al.

You just detest everything about the last coach. I was only curious why you would support having one of his former players around.

Jamal Lewis played for Fulmer. I guarantee his opinion of The Fired Coach is a whole lot closer to mine than Tim Irwin's.

no you were trying to take a shot at hat and missed. It was a stupid comment but eventually you'll realize Fulmer isn't the coach anymore and isn't coming back

No he didnt...but the love was there and you were wrong AGAIN!

Fulmer praises Wilson, declares he will coach again

While Wilson declared Fulmer “the greatest coach in the history of Tennessee Football [150-52 record, a national title and two SEC titles in 16 seasons],” Fulmer presented Wilson with a football inscribed: “Thanks for being a big part of the 150 wins.”

It was signed by Fulmer, “Al, you’re the best. I love you.”

I haven't heard a rumor of Lewis moving to Knoxville, hooking up with Fulmer at media events, nor a passing mention of him being interested in coaching either.
