Al Wilson will be the former Vol being honored this week before the game as Tee Martin was last week. He will also be giving the pregame speech to the team. I couldn't think of anyone better to do this than Al. He was an emotional leader of this team in '98, and hopefully he can still bring the magic.

Wow, I love that. I hope he's roaming the sideline too... and the players know it.

I heard a clip of him talking when he was with the Broncos and he said that if he saw anyone taking a play off, they would answer to him.

Well, talking is an understatement, and quite a few colorful words were edited out.

He wasn't just a player, he was a presence. Excuse me, he was a presents.

I remember T Stephens came in and gave a pregame speech for 02 UF game.
That didnt work out too well. As Casey couldnt even handle the snap.
One of the more embarrasing UT moments of all time.

He definately will be a boost, especially if he's allowed on the sidelines and motivating players. He'll inspire the players in a manner no one else on the staff could hope to.

Al Wilson needs to return to the University of Tennessee and coach the linebackers. He could show the young bucks how it's done. He played with so much fire, passion, and an "F-You, no one is stoppin me!" attitude, the Tennessee D would thrive again. GO VOLS!
