Wouldn't u luv to have Al Wilson as a LB coach. I don't think he's playing anymore fore health reasons. His fire and drive would be awsome.:salute:

Comments?

I do not believe that he would be a person that a parent would want their son to look up to as a coach. ie; recruiting would suffer.

I believe his fire and leadership would be beneficial to the program. He is from tennessee, so he understands the tradition and has a passion for the university.

I believe if tennessee is willing to take a chance, that Al Wilson would be a good hire

Personally, I think a better hire would be Bill Bates.

Is Bates coaching somewhere? If so I agree, but if not he has been away from the game a while. Then Wilson might not be a bad choice, he sure as hell wouldn't let the players sluff off. I wish we could clone him about 3 times. We would have the best linebacker set in the history of the game! Bates has got to be the epitomy of over acheiver.

Hershel Walker would disagree.. Just kidding, I love Bill... :eek:lol:

How about Ray Lewis---he'll scare the daylights out of players into playing hard.

We need Emmit Smith to coach RBs. (I heard he has a cousin that lives in Tennessee)

Just because a man was a good player doesn't make him a good coach. We need someone at position coach that can teach the necessary skills and technigues, but also inspire and motivate. Like Trooper Taylor.

As far as I'm concerned, Trooper can git out of town the same time that Fulmer does. I used to be one of his supporters, but his comments after the Florida game pretty much made me realize that we need to clean house from top to bottom.

I'd like to get Marinner for the offensive coordinator. That guy may get an award this year for his single season turn around at Kansas. Don't laugh! This guy is a legit phenom and potential HC maybe as soon as next year. I cannot see him coaching the fighting Manginos next season.
