‘23 AL RB Jeremiah Cobb (Auburn commit)

Stoops is the only reason these damn Kentucky fans have gotten loud over the past decade. If he leaves their program is finished.

That’s why I don’t mind if AU hires Stoops. But it’s kind of weird. Doesn’t Stoops seem like a guy that would be perfect at like Wisconsin or Iowa?

He’d have an easier road and the expectations wouldn’t be as high as they are at most places in the SEC. But I think Kentucky is just about the lowest stress place for him.

Yes, Iowa for sure. He's the SEC analogue of Kirk Ferentz. Conservative and boring offense. Average 7 wins a season; every once in a while, do a little better.

247 shows him unsigned. Is he wavering on Auburn? I doubt we get back in it even if he is, I just thought it was interesting.

Why hasn't he signed if he's happy there? Wasn't today the last day to sign until February?

Clemente says that Cobb has elected to wait until February to sign his letter of intent so that he can enjoy the special occasion with his teammates at Montgomery Catholic. Although he is waiting an extra six weeks to sign with the Tigers, Clemente is confident that Cobb is locked in with Auburn and does not see another program in the hunt.

He was my #1 want at RB
He would’ve fit like a glove in this offense. He’s the ideal RB for what we need. Has that breakaway speed and wiggle needed to create big runs and is a solid receiver and is big enough to be a feature back or at the very least get 60-70% of the offensive snaps
